Opera Orlando celebrates five years with an exclusive, private livestream party, broadcast directly to your home from Casa Feliz Historic Home Museum.
The setting will be your very own family room as Opera Orlando brings this party of incredible singers, special guests, a silent auction, and a look back on a grand five seasons for Opera Orlando to YOU!
Join Opera Orlando online for a virtual feast for the ears as the Company toasts five years of Opera in the City Beautiful. Metropolitan Opera singer and internationally acclaimed bass-baritone Gregg Baker headlines a quartet of singers that include soprano Laura León, who brought the house down as the four heroines in the 2018-19 Tales of Hoffmann, mezzo-soprano Robyn Rocklein, who returns to Orlando to show off her Verdian voice before diving into something a bit more scary-fun as the Witch in this season’s Hansel & Gretel, and tenor David Margulis, who was the fiery lover, Ernesto in Don Pasquale in Opera Orlando’s inaugural season. World-class pianist Robin Stamper will accompany, with Gabriel Preisser (aka Mr. Figaro) as your singing host. The program will also include special guests, a silent auction, and a look back on a grand five seasons for Opera Orlando. Dress is black tie or pajamas. You decide.Sunday Sep 20, 2020
