Good Morning Winter Park is our interactive morning magazine. Each month, we invite a keynote speaker to provide a new perspective on an important community issue. Topics include government, business, transportation, community-driven initiatives, arts and culture, and more.

Speaker: Marc Stanakis, President, The Jobs Partnership of Florida
Topic: Closing the Skills Gap... Leveling the Playing Field

Since 1999, Jobs Partnership has been upskilling underemployed workers to pursue better job opportunities. As President and Co-Founder of the nonprofit organization, Marc Stanakis is responsible for fundraising and developing strategic partnerships with churches, businesses and community partners for collective impact through the signature LifeWorks training program. He left a 16-year career in the credit reporting industry to pursue a second-half career of personal significance. Marc is a graduate of UCF and lives with his family in Maitland.
Marc has served as Past President of the UCF Alumni Association and is active in the Leadership 2.0 Orlando Economic Partnership, C12 CEO Group, Greater Orlando Society for Human Resource Management (GOSHRM) and as an Elder at Orangewood Presbyterian Church. You can also watch via Facebook Live on the Winter Park Chamber Facebook page.
