Join the Leadership Winter Park alumni community, Friday, Oct. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for our second fall LWP Refresh! event. This series aims to expand and refine professional development skills, while renewing connections among LWP alumni.
This LWP Refresh event will feature Betsy Gardner Eckbert, president and CEO of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce. She will discuss how to move beyond the "grip and grin" basics of networking to start connecting in ways that significantly propel your professional and personal life.
Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided.

Her vision gave rise to an international tourism marketing strategy that achieved a remarkable 3% click-through rate. With a profound commitment to advancing her community, Betsy authored a transformative Relaunch: Career Reentry for Professional Women curriculum, bolstering the talent pool in Central Florida and beyond. She also led the Chamber to develop and implement the Winter Park Prosperity Scorecard, an ESG-embedded scorecard with a commitment to values beyond the financial bottom line.
Betsy graduated from the University of Florida, where she was named the 1991 Outstanding Female Leader and has been inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame.
