Lessons in Leadership explores a shift in mindset in order to make better choices that will increase your ability to accomplish the goals that matter most to you. Minette will present a framework by which you can determine the important from the urgent in order to manage the right things for your life.
Minette Marcial is a high-energy corporate trainer who draws on more than 18 years of experience in broadcasting and corporate training supporting Fortune 100 businesses. With enthusiasm and humor, she facilitates high-impact programs that inspire total participant involvement at every stage of the learning process.
Minette’s career began in broadcasting, working as a spokesperson and actress in commercials, industry videos and independent films. Notable assignments include the Home Shopping Network and hosting over 500 episodes of WFTV – Channel 9’s local television show Home and Garden Local Experts.
During her career at the Walt Disney World Company, she was part of the Professional Development team designing and developing Disney’s signature program series “The Disney Approach…” for business audiences including Tribune Company, Nissan Corporation, Citibank, Hoffman-LaRoche, Kodak Professional Division, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Minette was a member of the opening team of Disney Institute, and partnered with clients such as Discover Magazine and The Jane Goodall Institute to produce top-rated symposiums hosted at The Disney Institute. Recognized for her dynamic presence and contributions, she was presented with the Disney Institute Excellence Award.
Minette’s career also includes Scholastic Book Fairs, where she had a proven track record of developing training programs on customer service, sales, and leadership that enhanced the quality and professionalism of Scholastic’s domestic team, as well as their international teams in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom.
More recently, Minette worked with The Coca-Cola Company, where she managed and deployed Coca-Cola’s first Sales Leadership Academy, as well as led training and development programs for the Coke Florida territory.
Minette is committed to a collaborative relationship with her participants to help them actively create their own learning. For her audience, Minette’s fresh and innovative approach unfolds in an environment that is captivating and entertaining.
The cost for lunch is $25 for Chamber members or $35 for non-chamber members.
