More about Tansey Sorderstrom
Tansey Soderstrom has been a licensed real estate practitioner for nearly 40 years, receiving her real estate license in 1981 while she was still in high school. Following in the footsteps of her mother, Soderstrom is a second-generation REALTOR®. In 1989, Soderstrom received her broker’s license and opened her first brokerage firm. In 2013, she left that franchise and started The Real Estate Firm of Orlando. Located in the Dr. Phillips Marketplace, The Real Estate Firm of Orlando specializes in the luxury home market. She is proud of the relationships that she has formed in the industry with most of her agents having been with her for ten to 30 years. She is most proud of the many people that she has helped realize the American dream of homeownership.
In 2021, Soderstrom was voted President-Elect of Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association and will become President in 2022. On her journey to this point, Soderstrom has served as treasurer and secretary. She has also been a member of the Board of Directors as well as chaired the Budget and Finance, Professional Standards , Communications and Community Relations Committees. She currently serves on the Global, Governmental Affairs, Strategic Planning, Executive and Budget and Finance Committees. She is also in the Honor Society for both the National Association of REALTORS® and Florida REALTORS® associations.
Dedicated to giving back to her profession and the community, Soderstrom is a Trustee Emeritus for Orlando Regional REALTOR® Foundation and director for both the Florida REALTORS® and National Association of REALTORS® associations.
She is a Major Investor in the REALTOR® Political Action Committee because she believes real estate professionals should take responsibility and advocate for the communities in which they serve. She is a NAR-trained Mediator for Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association as well as an Ombudsman.
When she is not working with her agents or attending meetings at Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association, she is with her best friend and husband, Stuart MacLean. They enjoy wine tasting with friends and pairing wine with great food.
