Apartment Maintenance Technician

La Aloma Apartments – Winter Park, FL

Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do

Every day is different! You'll help keep our apartment community looking its best by:

• Completing resident maintenance requests
• Preparing apartments for new residents (painting, repairs, cleaning up after maintenance work)
• Performing basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, appliance, and carpentry repairs
• Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems when needed
• Performing preventative maintenance around the property
• Helping maintain common areas and community amenities
• Working with a friendly team to provide excellent service to our residents
• Participating in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance (when scheduled)

What We're Looking For

• Maintenance experience is preferred.
• HVAC Certification is a plus, but not required. If you're not certified, we'll consider candidates who are willing to obtain their HVAC certification.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and maintenance repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer-service oriented.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
